About Demetria
Hey! How are you? My name is Demetria and I am an urban planner turned freelance writer/journalist/budding author. I am also a hip hop head, wife, afro sporter, reality show junkie and avid reader. This blog is basically an outlet for me to release all these random thoughts in my head. I’m hoping you will be able to identify with some of my thoughts and observations and I would love to read your comments.
Born and raised in Detroit, but living in NYC now, I have lots of thoughts about gentrification and nerdy things like that. I love fashion and (fun, not mean spirited ) gossip too, so I’m a well-rounded geek. I don’t really do gossip on this site, but I do link to some of my favorite gossip blogs.
