BET aired a good program!

Yes! BET actually aired a good program. This is exciting stuff, man. On Father’s day BET aired “Daddy’s Home.” It was a half hour program that featured rappers talking about their experiences with fatherhood.  Juelz Santana, the Game, Busta Rhymes and Big Boi all spoke candidly about being dads. It was great. I am not a fan of Juelz Santana or the Game and I pretty much only listen to entire songs from them when I am not in control of the speakers. But anyway, seeing those two interact with their kids and say truly poignant and meaningful things about the responsibilities and joys of being fathers, was just refreshing. Busta Rhymes actually had a few words of wisdom to pass along to his sons too. I wasn’t too surprised that Big Boi is just brimming with paternal pride. He was also the only one on the show that had a girl in his brood. All the others had all boys.

Anywho, that was good, BET. Keep it up.
