Rev Jackson, please go sit down somewhere

10 Jul

Click here to view the video of Jesse Jackson saying some insanely inappropriate things about Barack Obama. Wow. I’m so disappointed in Jesse Jackson. The whole thing is just wrong. Not only is this type of language not befitting of a man of God, but he has actually endorsed Obama even though he clearly has some issues with the senator. This is the kind of thing that makes people believe that some of these older civil rights leaders have a little green in their eyes these days when they look at Obama’s White House chances. Jackson later apologized to Obama for the comments. Too late. It was too late when the words came out of his mouth. For his part, Senator Obama has accepted Jackson’s apology.

id like to thank jesse gore actually helping helping Barak gain undecided white voters.

Its a new world Jesse there is no place for race.

Barak is with in his rights to address his own community as to problems that he believes it should address.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say there is no place for race. Racism is still very much a part of living in the U.S. and it should be addressed However, Jackson was completely out of line with his comments and honestly, he should just fall back and learn how to play the position of a proud civil rights leader of an era now gone who wants to support the new leadership.
