Hmmmm. Aren’t tasers supposed to be “non-lethal?” A 21-year-old-man was tasered NINE times by a police officer with a 50,000-volt taser gun and died. His death has been ruled a homicide. This happened in a town in Louisiana where cops have had their tasers for a year and used them in 14 incidents. Twelve of those incidents involved black suspects. Please read this story because it is full of ridiculousness and you should know about things that happen in this country. ~CNN~

A panel has given the green light to a one-year ban on new fast food restaurants in South Central. I  doubt this will actually happen, but I totally understand the motivation. It’s so frustrating to be in certain parts of NYC where there are absolutely no healthy food options. I’m talking about no stores with decent fruits and veggies and all the restaurants carry junk. At least folks in LA are trying to do something. ~LA Times~

I just think it’s funny that Raven Symone has an interview on All Hip Hop. ~All Hip Hop~

Not to compare the Confederates to the Nazis, but do they have issues like this in Germany? I mean, lots of Nazis died and they have descendants. Do their grandchildren and great-grand-children try to put Nazi flags on government buildings and what not because it’s “their history?” I’m just sayin. ~BET~
